This response was submitted to the Reform Bill Committee consultation on the Senedd Cymru (Members and Elections) Bill.

I am writing to object to the implementation of the above on the grounds that:-
It reduces democracy
Negates the opportunity for diversity
Does away with the ability to stand for election as an independent
The current two tier system is superior.
The electorate should know who they are voting for, rather than closed party list.
